PoE Switches: Using Power over Ethernet (PoE) or PoE+ switches to deliver both data and electrical power over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable, simplifying installation and reducing power source requirements.

NVR/Storage: Sizing the Network Video Recorder (NVR) with sufficient hard drive capacity (e.g., 30+ days of retention) and processing power to handle simultaneous, high-resolution streams.

2. Physical Cable Installation
